All parts appear to be original except for some screws. The rest of the gun has gone to a dull grey metal color. Only about 10% of the nickel plate is left in protected corners and on the trigger guard bow. The checkered ivory grips show a great deal of wear and period repairs, but no major losses.
Although worn, the frame and barrel engraving still shows nicely. Also, the cylinder engraving is very worn, but visible. 45colt, 4 5/8' barrel, 6rnd, nickel plated 5 inch ' barrel marshall, mn 56258: used: : 1,606.00. The engraving is extremely worn on the recoil shields (nearly gone). Last for the pistols we take a look at the 6mm Airsoft firing Colt 1911 Rail Gun in the Dark Earth finish, its basically a KWC 1911 but with a little extra bling.

But, all serial numbers match and are still readable, as well as, the “ 45 CAL” on the trigger guard. This sheriff’s model is pictured in “ The Colt Engraving Book“ (2nd edition) by R.L. Most noteworthy, the engraving is identical to the sheriff’s model SAA, #80118. 242 guns were manufactured in this configuration.
